Clean look: You will notice that the hole will always splinter when you are drilling through. The adhesive washer could be adhered to the hole to make a clean finishing look. SPEC?Fit for 1/8 5/32 and 3/16 inch cable on level applications, fit 1/8 and 5/32 inch cable on the stair railing. Check the image to find the compatibility table. Work for wood posts and metal posts.

Material&Outdoor adhesive: Made of T316 marine grade stainless steel. Superior rust-proof. Works for coastal projects. It can work in temperature range -4 ? to 190 ?.Extra adhesives included just in case you need to remove or repair the railing after years. So please keep the adhesives as backup and do not throw them away.

Note: This sleeve is not for load-bearing applications because of adhesive is not strong enough for large pressure. That means it can only make the hole pretty but won't protect the wood while under large payload.
